Online Summer Camps

Join us for our newest creative endeavor: Online Summer Roleplaying Game Camps!  During this time of distancing, we want you to know that we are here for you and your family. While we wish that we could be with your children in person, we are finding that our online programs are a fun alternative that offers a social connection that we all need while maintaining the safety of social distancing.

Our skilled staff will keep participants engaged and having by creating an interactive story that includes diverse, age-appropriate challenges that draw upon each Quester’s unique strengths & skills! We have adapted our Quest programs to work online via the Zoom video chat platform. Our programs foster skills like teamwork, creative problem solving, and adaptability that are so important at this time. Best of all your children get a chance to interact with their peers in creative and imaginative ways!

We have a variety of both morning and afternoon options to suit the diversity of family scheduling needs.

You may sign up for more than one program per week! Each program will have a different storyline.

Online Summer Camps – Adventure Quest & More

Adventure Quest Online Summer Camps

Join our Quest Leaders online for an exciting Adventure Quest experience! Adventure Quest™ is our award-winning experiential education program where the children and teens become the heroes of an incredibly fun and dynamic quest, working together in a mythical and magical world to overcome interesting challenges, solve mystifying riddles, and brainstorm unique solutions to puzzling dilemmas. See more information on Adventure Quest.

Our online version of Adventure Quest is similar in many ways to the live-action program, but without the foam Swasher™ swords or outdoor setting. It allows for all the fun and engagement of being a hero in a team of questing companions, and helping to create an interactive roleplaying story, even finding ways to bring physical activity into the program with mimed battles, feats of strength and agility, and in-home treasure hunts.

Mini-Quests & Intro Sessions

Join us in on a Friday afternoon mini-quest! This short and simple Adventure Quest program could be perfect for you if:

  • you’ve never played Adventure Quest before or have only played at a birthday party or after-school mini-quest
  • you’re new to the online format and curious to try it for a short session
  • our longer sessions don’t fit your schedule and you’d prefer a single-day adventure

What to expect: You will play an exciting Adventure Quest game within the class period and if you are new there will be the opportunity to:

  • Learn the game system
  • Get used to the online format
  • Create a character
  • Be ready for upcoming Adventure Quest programs that you are thinking of registering for

These mini-adventures are also the perfect opportunity for new and old questers alike to try out different paths and new characters. These mini-quests will each be a self-contained adventure where every Quester will pick a core path from our game system and receive a sample of powers from that path to use throughout the afternoon.

Online Quest Requirements

Online Quests take place via Zoom, and require a computer, tablet, or smartphone with a microphone and video capabilities, and a quiet space. For siblings to quest at the same time, multiple devices are recommended. See Zoom’s system requirements for computers & for mobile devices

Unsure of summer plans?

We understand how hard it is to predict what’s coming and plan ahead in this unprecedented time. This season there will be no cancellation fees or session change fees. If we’re able to open in-person camps and you want to switch your registration, or if your schedule suddenly changes, just let us know. We’re all in this together.
