Cornwall Park is full of forests, fields, winding paths and streams. We make our way from one end of the park to the other and back every day.
We will meet for drop-off and pickup by the playground near the horseshoe pits and south shelter of Cornwall Park. To find it, take Cornwall Ave north from the intersection of Cornwall & W Illinois St. Where the street dead-ends and Parkview School begins, you will see an entrance to the park on your left. Follow that winding road into the park until you get to a parking lot. You’ll see us by the bathrooms building, wearing purple shirts and foam swords 🙂

Adventure Club
Learn new skills, develop your character, explore new options
The Adventure Club is an opportunity to take a little bit of time outside of the active quest to deepen and broaden our skills, knowledge, and to play in a relaxed atmosphere. It is available as an extended day option for Bellingham Summer & Spring Break Camps, from 3:00 – 4:30 pm.
There will be two options per day:
- Workshops on a variety of topics: character development, game system understanding, arts & crafts, world lore, adventuring skills, swashbuckling instruction and battle tactics. A great option for kids who want to develop more skills and knowledge to enhance their questing experience. Each day or week will have a different theme, depending on the expertise of the staff leading the workshop. For any of those who do not want to participate in the workshop on that day, there will always be other options for activities (see below):
- Games, puzzles, creative activities, and dueling. A great option for kids who want something simple, relaxing, and/or self-directed in the afternoons, after a long days’ Questing. Though these activities may be more self-directed, they will still be supervised by an adult Quest Leader.
The group will be a mix of ages, including kids from multiple questing groups (and thus an option for friends and siblings who have been in different questing groups to connect).

Participants choose mythic archetypes and powers, band together as a team, solve riddles and dilemmas, and swashbuckle with foes. In small groups of about six children, everyone gets a chance to shine and be the hero of a mythic quest! In Adventure Quest™, the children and teens become the heroes of an incredibly fun and dynamic quest, working together in a mythical and magical world to overcome interesting challenges, solve mystifying riddles, brainstorm unique solutions to puzzling dilemmas, and swashbuckle with foes. The campers experience the excitement and confidence that comes from banding together to defend their village, solve a perplexing mystery, or negotiate a peace treaty.
Wielding safe foam Swasher swords, the children play dueling games and act out challenges like fending off a bullying ogre or a thieving band of pirates, in an environment that teaches good sportsmanship, fair-play, and respect for others. Then they exercise their minds as they try to piece together the clues in a coded riddle and follow a map to buried treasure. Questers end the program feeling empowered, excited, and full of stories to tell.
